The opening details.

The first part of the story is intimate and precise. A reflective tabletop holds the shoes and accessories in a styled still life, then the focus narrows again to the rings and wedding card. That sense of closeness carries into a quiet emotional frame as the bride wipes away tears in warm light, followed by an easy, smiling moment beside a close family member before the portraits begin.

Portraits in motion.

Much of this edit is built around movement in the dress and the way the spaces hold it. The bride turns with her bouquet as the train opens out behind her, smiles over her shoulder in a checkered-tile hallway, pauses in a doorway with one hand at the curtain, and looks back warmly from the staircase. A black-and-white portrait strips everything back to expression and shape, while the garden portraits soften into a blurred green background and natural June light.

The Mansion at Glen Cove is a Georgian Revival estate in Glen Cove on Long Island’s North Shore, with gardens, lawns and views towards Long Island Sound. For photographs, that gives a clear mix of formal interior lines and open outdoor space, which comes through here in the corridor portraits, the staircase frames and the softer garden images.
