Baltimore's Jewish community is close-knit and largely in one corridor: Park Heights, Cheswolde and Glen in the city, then Pikesville and Owings Mills beyond it. A great many simchas here have guests coming in from Lakewood, Brooklyn and Monsey as well, so the evening has to work for a room full of people who have been to a lot of them.
People who search for a Jewish photographer in Baltimore are not always planning a wedding. It might be a bar or bat mitzvah, a vort or an l'chaim, a bris, or a family portrait before the next simcha. What they want in every case is somebody who already knows the occasion: when the badeken happens and how quickly it is over, what the shul permits on the day of a bar mitzvah and what has to be photographed on another day instead, and which grandparents have to be in the family photographs before anyone sits down.
We come down from New Jersey for Baltimore simchas and plan the travel so that it costs the family nothing in coverage: arriving early enough to see the room in daylight, and never billing the drive as hours. Photography and cinema are one in-house team. The Baltimore wedding page shows a Baltimore wedding we photographed; for any other occasion, tell us the date and the plans and we will say plainly how we would cover it.
One in-house team for photography and cinema, start to finish. Send us the date and we’ll tell you straight away whether we’re free — and exactly how we’d shoot it.
